Things you have heard if you were on this trip....

"Can we have the Bubba version on the navigator?"-Steve

"The only time you scream like that is if your foot is being bitten off--not when someone throws a sea urchin at you!!"  Koko to Casey

"Can we go back to our destination?" Casey--every time we leave the house

"Can we play on the playground?"  Casey and Landon

"No, there are no Mcdonalds' with playgrounds in Florida--it's full of old people."  Steve in response to the above

"Publix!!  Walgreens!!"  All of us since every 2 blocks you see both!!

"I don't want that lizard to bite Max" Casey

"Max has a lizard in his mouth" Steve

"I don't think you have to worry about the lizard biting Max" me

"Why is the navigator taking us this way?" me

"Can you find me a shell with a live thing in it so I can put it in a home?"  Casey at the beach (the home was a pit her daddy dug)

"Those who aggravate me  are going to be fed to the gators" me

"Good job panking them mommy" Landon

"This game cheats!!!"  uttered by both mimi and me while playing Uno Flash

Airboats and Gators

Thrill seeking....yep that sums it up!

We drove down to the Everglades and took an airboat ride--so worth the money!!!!
Everyone had a great time--so glad that the bug level was at a 1 and that we had all brought jackets!!!

This is our boat!

Shelby wasn't to sure at the start but was laughing by the end!

Casey did okay until he whirled our boat around VERY fast the first time.  She didn't cry but kept asking when we were going back to our destination!!

This is our thrill seeker!!  He was trying to stand up by then end of the ride.  He was also irritated not to have seen an alligator up close!

Captain Dan did a great job!  He knew the "boys" were loving being slung around but not Casey so much so he started taking it easy on her!

The ride got 2 thumbs up from everyone but Casey (who gave it a thumbs down) and everyone wanted to do it again.

Sprinkles anyone?

We made cookies on Christmas Eve morning!

Casey and Landon did all their own sprinkles.....SEE....

There are 3 cookies under all the star sprinkles!!

Then they hid in the kitchen cabinets and ate all the left over sprinkles.....

A Social Network Christmas.....

You Better Watch Out....

So this year, Landon assured me that he was going to sit on Santa's lap and not cry....

Here he is when he first saw Santa....

Casey had no problem with running to Santa and hopping right up on his lap!!  She was so ready--good thing there was NO LINE...Did you hear me people---7 days till Santa flies and NO LINE!!!!

She loved it!!  Every minute of it!














She has a long list......












She even had a list for her Webkinz......Black Moon the Cat.

 Drew and Shelby also had a quick list for Santa.

So what was Landon doing while all the big kids were seeing Santa?Hiding behind Mommy...and looking the other way!

So we did the next best thing....we all got in the picture!!!! 

 Then Santa decided to get a hug from Landon.Landon reluctantly agreed.  But then....Santa took Landon from me.  I don't think he realized how strong Landon really is.  Let's just say that Santa got an upper body work out!!!

 Finally, Landon sat still and took a picture with Santa!!

He even spent a little time talking with Santa and handing down his verbal list.
