Saturday morning, Steve and I told Drew and Shelby to watch the little kids.
Drew said he would watch Casey and so Shelby took Landon.

Okay, for all my football friends out there--this one's for you. This is a great catch. I saw this on the news and then had to find it to show it to Steve. I'm thinking that this guy is going to need a good hot tub and some pain meds when he gets up!!!

Do you know what this is?

It's the inside of Steve's truck. See all the black "stuff" in the door, the floor, part of the seat

and on the ground--it's glass.
Why is there glass everywhere? Because someone broke into Steve's truck last night.
The popped the window out, we saw the tool mark when we were taping the window, and took his work computer and one of our personal digital cameras.
Just let me tell you, this is a HUGE mess!! There is glass everywhere--all in his tool bag, hard hat, inside the door--between the door panels, in the seat, in the front of the truck and all up and down our driveway. There is a ton of glass.
I hate this for Steve. It's a ton of work--3 months worth that he's lost. Notes from phone calls, meetings--you name it. The scary part is that it had some info on it that is important to us!!!

I'm proud of Steve. He's handled this with his head held high this morning. I'm proud to be his wife--especially at this time. He's mad don't get me wrong but there was a time, when he would have reacted much differently!!
So if you guys think about it, please pray for Steve. The important thing is safe and that's our family but it would be great and a huge thing for us if they recover his computer.

Bath Fun

How cute is this crew?
Last night, all of the little ones got a quick bath. Nate had been at the ball field all day and he was dirty--REALLY dirty.
So in order to save time (there were 7 kids to bathe) and our minds, Jennifer and I put Nate, Casey and Landon in the bath together. The first thing Nate wanted to know was if I could turn the water green again. And guess what, I had the right bath tints!!!

They all had fun--until we actually started to wash them off.

Happy 9th Birthday Shelby!!!

Where has the time gone? I keep asking myself this question!!
Can it really be that my baby girl is growing up so fast.
It must because we have the cake and candles to prove it!

Shelby and Macy
Macy was Shelby's big present from Mommy and Daddy.
She had no idea on Friday what was going on. I told her that she HAD to come with me to run some errands--the most important was our picking up Macy!! Krista met us 1/2 way and we are so thankful.
I think that both the girls had a great time. Macy had a soccer game on Saturday morning, so we had to meet her mom at 10 on Saturday morning. I must say that the 2 girls in my back seat on Saturday were much different than those who giggled all the way home on Friday.

Everyone was excited to dig into the cake!!

For lunch on Saturday, we went to Ryan's.
I think Shelby enjoyed all the attention she got from the staff!

On Saturday night, Lance, Jennifer, Will, Josie and Nate came for a visit.
Shelby got to open her gifts from Drew and Casey and Landon on Saturday night.
Then we enjoyed cake and ice cream.
Then the adults enjoyed playing cards while the Drew and Will watched one movie, Shelby and Josie watched another movie and all 3 little ones got sent to bed.
All in all, Shelby had a great day.

Rounding the corner

Well, I think we've finally rounded the corner with Casey. She had a great day yesterday. She patiently (well not so much) waited for Shelby to finish her school work so that they could play dress up. Then she fixed me a meal in her kitchen and fussed when Landon tried to "cook" also. She is definately 2!!!!
She is her normal "not a morning person" self this morning.

GRRRR!!!!!

Okay, I like this new background but.....does it make things difficult to see? Plus GRRRR I lost my links on the right side so now I have to go back and fix them.
Oh well, it's a learning experience. I have a cool background for later but it's a little early to use it but be on the look out!!!

an update

Okay I finally got all the Disney pictures up (well not all of them but some of them). You will just have to scroll to the bottom and read up if you want to read anything in any kind of order. You may have to click on older post to see all the new post--go figure!!

Casey is still sick. We spent Sunday in the ER here in Columbia. She is still sick. As it is right now, we will most likely be back at the doctor tomorrow but I'm praying that she will soon start feeling better.

Everyone else seems to be fine--except Landon, who just needs a nap and all will be right in his world.

Now off to unpack some more boxes and try to get our live back in order.

While Steve and Landon took a nap, the rest of us hit the pool at our hotel.

See the big valcano in the background--it's a water slide. Drew and Shelby loved it!!

There was also a "Squirt" park. You never knew where the water was going to squirt from.
I found this out when Casey fell and I put my camrea behind my back while I picked her up only to have the spout behind me squirt my camrea!!
