I came home from church on Sunday and collapsed into the bed--every inch of my body ached. I was sure a nap would fix it. When I got up 4 hours later, I realized that it was most likely going to be a LONG week. I was no better in fact I was worse! That was not what I had on my calendar at all.
The evening got even better when Shelby let me know that Landon (who had put his self to bed) was burning up with a fever. GREAT--just GREAT.
We were supposed to have company on Monday and swim lessons. Plans change fast around here some days!
Monday was spent in the doctor office with Landon. When he got up he looked like he had been punched in the eye. They were kind enough to in Landon's words "give him bleed" aka finger stick for a blood DRAW!!!! The boy did great not one tear!!!!
Casey went on and went to swim lessons which lasted a grand total of 6 minutes before the thunder started!!! Tuesday was not much better and we didn't even make swim lessons. The upside to Tuesday is that at least it rained on Tuesday!!!
Wednesday was back to the doctor to see if Landon was having a reaction to his meds. Huge praise--he was not!!! Swim lessons for Casey and one fussy boy who wanted desperately to be in the pool.
Today was great.
Both kids got to take their lesson. Casey was doing great in her lesson and really going under and kicking her feet and doing this funny ballet thing with her arms instead of paddling with her arms. It was so funny to watch--not that I laughed or anything. Here are a few pictures of Casey....

Landon was so excited about his first lesson. He waited very IMPATIENTLY for Casey to finish!
He got in the pool and went over the rules with Sarah. He was very happy to show her that he could hold his breath and kick his feet.

The next thing he said was that he wanted to jump in the pool. Sarah let him jump and he never touched the bottom but he kept right on swimming.
Take a look at this boy......(remember day 1 of swim lessons)
We are looking forward to a great rest of the week.
