Casey Turns 3

How about some cake and ice cream? We have plenty to share.

Casey jumped up this morning and said,"I FREE today!" She was pretty excited about her birthday this year--she's had to "endure" all of her siblings having a birthday so she knew it should be fun and I think she's had a great day despite things not going as we had planned. We had invited a Casey's friend Ella Rose and my family to come over for Casey's birthday but it turned out just being us. Landon is sick and so that in itself uninvited Ella Rose and it seems as though my Granny will not live much longer so Mimi needed to be there which is where she needed to be. We missed everyone but Casey had a great birthday. She got a rocking horse, some princess hair things, and a camera from us. Grandma and Grandpa sent her a card yesterday with some money in it. I know she will have fun picking out something at the store. Uncle Jack and Aunt Jammie gave her a small princess doll and a Thomas the Train that makes noise. She loves it all!!!
So here is a look at her day.....
Don't you love her cake? It was painful to pick out!! We, Casey and I, went to pick out a cake. Well they had a BEAUTIFUL castle cake with all of the princesses. Of course, that's the one she wanted. The problem? $$$$!!!! Mommy said nope it cost to much and Casey let it be known that she did not care for that ruling!!! After we got the tears under control, we picked out this lovely cake. Now for round 2 of the tears!! Why? Because someone didn't cover the "we're just picking the cake out not and we will pick it up and take it home tomorrow" rule with her. Yep she wanted it then!!! Right then!!! So of course she went with her daddy to get lunch and pick up the cake today. You know the rule about things in 3s!! Well today, she didn't want lunch--only cake thank you. Casey's been waiting a long time to blow out the candles on a cake. When we asked her what type of cake she wanted, she said one with candles for her to blow out. Well, we were not ready for how FAST she blew them out. I moved my hand from lighting them and they were out--no song, no wish just blow!! We had to light them 3 times trying to get a picture of her with them lit--forget actually blowing them out!!
